	The device collects an ultra-filtrate of blood known as Oral Mucosal Transudate (OMT) quickly and painlessly from the inside of the mouth.

The collection device consists of a cotton fibre pad used to collect the OMT sample and a vial containing a preservative that prevents the sample from degrading during transportation to the laboratory under strict chain of custody procedures.
